In 2019 Volume 11 will be undergoing a rebranding process, aiming to better suit the audience. Along with a rebranding, I will be actively searching freelancers to help contribute to my online magazine.
With the rebranding, I want to include video and a podcast diving deeper into stories and giving a “behind the scenes” look inside what really goes into making Volume 11.
I also am aiming at improving my musical skills in 2019 and teaching myself how to play guitar. For many years I have told myself that I would learn how to play guitar. Lately, I have been talking with a good friend of mine about how things are just ‘clicking’ in 2019. I went downstairs in my apartment building and there was a guitar with a post-it note on the case that said ‘free guitar’. There was no excuse not to take it up to my room.
Being a graduate student has been a life changing experience due to undergoing a major personal life change. I don’t enjoy using the word change, because I am still the same person I have just grown.
